Greetings and welcome to my world of education and enthusiasm! With an incredible 25-year journey in Judson ISD, I am excited to introduce myself as a passionate educator, Reading Specialist, and lifelong learner. I am Dr. Lucia West, and my career has been marked by dedication, growth, and an unwavering love for teaching, students, and the world of literacy.My academic pursuits have led me to achieve a Doctor of Education degree in Reading and Literacy Leadership from Walden University. I proudly earned my Masters of Education and Bachelors of Arts in Education from the University of the Incarnate Word, with a specialization in Reading.My journey through education has allowed me to teach across various grades, from kindergartners to fifth graders. I've also had the honor of working in the Curriculum & Instruction Department at the district level as a Reading/Language Arts Instructional Specialist.
